Peridot is one of the very few gemstones to occur only in one colour. Displaying such a pure form, Peridot was soon associated to nature. In early days, Egyptians would consider it a symbol of the sun, while in the Middle Ages people would see the cosmos reflected in its facets.

Esteemed for its radiant green shine that would not alter even in artificial light, and due to its provenance from deep under the Earth, Peridot is believed to bring strong protection as well as lively felicity in order for its bearers to overcome the predicaments of relationships.
