History

Ruby derives its name from the Sanskrit word ‘ratnaraj’ which means ‘king of the gemstones’. Along with outstanding beauty and nobility, Ruby can pride on every valuable virtue a precious stone should have: radiant colour, extreme hardness, astonishing brilliance, ultimate rarity.

Virtues

Due to its blood tint, Ruby has long been considered for its healing powers. Whether healers, shamans or medicine men, they would all use Ruby to grant health protection. However, while closing wounds, Ruby is also believed to open hearts. Such magnificent shine, such vivid colour, such pure red are the true symbol of a strong and vital love.
