Sandrine Domercq has been fascinated with gemstones since early childhood. When she was a little girl, Sandrine's father, a painter and sculptor introduced her to form,colour and texture and passed on to her his love of beauty. Soon with an inquisitive and creative nature, she started to collect all sorts of coloured stones during her travels and combined them as the mood suited her.When she settled in London towards the end of 1998, Sandrine joined the renowned Gemological Association where she trained as a Gemologist.Whether from India, Brazil, Namibia or Madagascar, gemstones never ceased to inspire her as an immense palette of shapes and colours. In March 2002 Sandrine created her first jewellery collection and Perle De Lune was born.

This notice explains how we will process your personal information.
Data Protection Principles
SDDI Limited trading as Perle de Lune Perle de Lune complies with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003. The eight principles relating to the processing of personal information are:

Your privacy and security is of utmost importance to us. We will always follow these principles and ask you how you would like us (or our partners) to communicate with you. The Information Commissioner regulates compliance with the Data Protection Act. See details at end of contact page.
What data do we collect?
We only collect the data we need to allow us to manage your Perle de Lune account.
•When you register with Perle de Lune, you will supply us with information such as your name, date of birth, address and e-mail address.
•We will hold records of your purchases and email correspondence.
•For the purposes of customer service and staff training, we may record and listen to telephone calls made to our customer service team.
Why we collect your data?
By collecting your data, it allows us manage your account, fulfil orders and to deal with any queries you may have on your account. The data will also allow us to understand what your needs and wants are, provide personalised content and match the most relevant adverts and services for you. It also, allows us to provide many great, targeted member offers and services that we know you may be interested to hear about.
Who is the Data Controller?
When you provide personal information to Perle de Lune the data controller is SDDI Limited trading as Perle de Lune
If another company is the data controller, this will be made clear when you provide your personal information.
How we use personal data
The data controller will use your information together with other information for administration (including providing any goods, services or information you have requested), marketing, credit scoring, customer services and profiling your purchasing preferences. We will disclose your information to our service providers and agents for these purposes.

Updating or deleting your personal information
When you register online with Perle de Lune, you can see, review and change your personal information by logging onto the site and going to My Account. Please ensure you update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate. Should you request that your account is closed and your personal information removed, please be assured that this will be done as soon as is reasonably possible. Personal information from closed accounts is retained in order to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems etc, but always done within a legal framework.
When you request to be removed from further marketing offers, you will be added to a suppression list to ensure your request is complied with. All personal data is processed in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.
Information Requests
You have a right to ask for a copy of your information (for which we charge a small fee) and to ask us to correct any inaccuracies in your personal information (which is free). To make sure we follow your instructions correctly and to improve our service to you through training of our staff, we may monitor or record telephone calls.
When you give us information about another person, you confirm that they have appointed you to act for them, to consent to the processing of their personal data, including sensitive personal data and to the transfer of their information abroad and to receive on their behalf any data protection notices.
Notification of changes
From time to time, we may make changes to the Privacy Policy. This may be in relation to changes in the law, best practice or changes in our services.
Change of ownership
In the event Perle de Lunes business assets are sold to or purchased by another company then your data will be passed to that business as our data records form part of the assets of our business.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Goods through the website. You are connected to the User Agreement for SDDI Limited trading as Perle de Lune, registered address 24 Oxberry Avenue London SW65SS.
This service is operated by SDDI Ltd (SDDI Ltd trading as Perle de Lune and perledelune.com each separately and together in this Agreement, we, us or our).
1. The Contract between you and us
We must receive payment in whole for the price of the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an e-mail to you at the e-mail address you provide in your order form. This is not an Order Acceptance from Perle de Lune. Our acceptance of your order takes place on the despatch to you of the products ordered unless we notify you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled your order in accordance with clause 3. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. Only adults (persons aged 18 and over) are entitled to enter into legally binding contracts and as a result are the only people entitled to transact through this site. Any other individuals who are unable to perform legally binding contracts are prohibited from ordering goods using this site. If you do not qualify do not use this site.
2. Pricing, Delivery and Discount Codes:
2.1 The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our website.
2.1.1 We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time but the items will be charged at the rate which was current at the time the order was placed.
2.1.2 All of our prices are in Euros and are exclusive of delivery charges which will be indicated to you during the ordering process. You will be billed in Euros.
2.1.3 Non-EU orders are exclusive of VAT (at 17.5%).At the checkout stage, when a non EC delivery address is given the VAT element will automatically be deducted.
Please note you will be liable for import duties in the usual way and your local customs office should be able to help you with this.
2.2 You may be required to pay extra for delivery and it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. Our delivery charges are as described in 5.2.
2.3 Promotional discount codes: We may from time to time offer promotional discount codes (either directly or via third parties) which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made though this Website. Such codes may only be applied to purchases of full-price items and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discounts.
3. Right for you to cancel your contract -Returns of goods
3.1 Subject to 3.3 below, you may cancel your contract with us for the goods you order at any time up to the end of the seventh working day from the date you receive the ordered goods. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract nor will you have to pay any penalty.
3.2 To cancel your contract you must notify us by e-mail at returns_perledelune.com or telephone us on +44 (0) 207 731 67 85
3.3 Your right to cancel your contract with us for the goods you have ordered is subject to:
a) You not having worn or damaged the jewellery.
b) You not having removed any security tags from the item.
c) You calling us within 7 days of receiving your goods and receiving a Returns Authorisation number.
d) The item(s) cannot be a Bespoke Special Order, which due to their unique nature, cannot be exchanged or returned under any circumstances.
e) At Christmas Perle de Lune is delighted to offer an extended period for customers to exchange their Christmas gifts or to request a Merchandise Credit Note to spend at a later date. All requests for an exchange or a credit note must be made before the 10th January 2010. Please note: Perle de Lunes returns policy remains as stated below. All requests for return for refund must be made within 7 days of delivery, and refunds can only be made to the original purchasers card.
3.4 Any return carried out (other than for defective items or items delivered incorrectly by us) will be at your own expense.
3.5 We would advise you to return Items by recorded delivery or by obtaining a Certificate of Postage from the Post Office or by any other means that shows proof of the return
3.6 Each return parcel should only ever relate to ONE order and will have one authorisation number. You should not mix orders in returned parcels. Return parcels that contain mixed orders will result in only ONE order being refunded.
3.7 Should your chosen carrier fail to deliver or loose your return, you will be required to claim from the carrier directly. Perle de Lune is not liable for any lost parcels.
3.8 Please note that it is your responsibility to choose the most appropriate method for returns with the appropriate insurance
3.9 Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, a full refund, excluding delivery costs will be credited to the original card or payment source soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you, in the way detailed above, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be credited to you.
3.10 We will not refund any sales tax or duties payable on orders outside of the EU.
4. Cancellation by us
4.1 We reserve the right to cancel the contract between you and us if:
4.1.1 we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
4.1.2 we do not deliver to your area; or
4.1.3 one or more of the items you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
4.2 If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail or by telephone, and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
4.3 All refunds are made to the original card or payment source. The card or account details are not able to be amended for audit and fraud purposes.
5. Delivery of goods to you
5.1 We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address you give us is correct and accurate and that there is somebody to sign for and take delivery of the goods from the delivery service used.
5.2 All orders within the UK are delivered using Royal Mail Special Delivery or an alternative carrier during Royal Mail industrial action. Delivery Charges:
•Delivery within the UK is €8.50 or FREE for orders over €600 and the delivery will arrive within 1-3 working days
•Delivery overseas costs €18 to te EU, €25 everywhere else and the delivery will arrive within 1-7 working days
5.3 You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been paid and dispatched to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
5.4 We make no promise that materials on our website are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the EU and accessing the website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful is prohibited. If you choose to access this site from locations outside the EU, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
5.5 If your order is returned to us because the courier or postal service could not complete the delivery to you for whatever reason, then you will be responsible for the repeat delivery costs.
6. Liability
6.1 If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by email of the problem within 7 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.
6.2 If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 7 working days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by e-mail or telephone at our contact address of the problem within 14 days of the date on which you ordered the goods. If you notify us of a problem under this condition, our only obligation will be, at your option either:
6.2.1 to make good any shortage or non-delivery; or
6.2.2 to replace any goods that are damaged or defective; or
6.2.3 to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.
6.3 Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify us of under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under clause 6.2.3 above.
6.4 You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.
6.5 Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
6.6 We cannot be held responsible for any delays once the goods have left us and are in possession of the courier or Royal Mail.
7. Notices
Unless otherwise expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all notices from you to us must be in writing and sent by e-mail to our contact address at jewellery_perledelune.co.uk and all notices from us to you will be displayed on our website from time to time.
8. Invalidity
If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
9. Privacy
You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our privacy policy.
10. Third Party
10.1: Third Party Rights: Except for our affiliates, directors, employees or representatives, a person who is not a party to this agreement has no right under the UK Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available apart from that Act.
11. Governing Law
Each and every transaction carried out is deemed to be completed within the United Kingdom and therefore shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law. The terms of this charter (and any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claims of whatever nature in relation to them) shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with English Law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation thereto.
12. Entire Agreement
12.1 These terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us. Save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
12.2 We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy completeness or suitability for any purpose of the information and related graphics published on our website. From time to time our site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.
13. Trade Marks
SDDI Ltd is the operator of www.perledelune.com. All designs, trademarks, product names and logos sited herein are the property of SDDI Ltd and protected by copyrights and intellectual property laws. No permission is given by us in respect of the use of any such brand names, photographs, product names or titles or copyrights and such use may constitute an infringement of the Perle de Lune rights.
14. Events Beyond our Control
We will not be in breach of this Agreement or otherwise liable for any delay in performance if to the extent that any delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
15. Our rights
We reserve the right to change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.
